Sculptural Works

Every piece begins with something found - a piece of driftwood, a fragment of glass, a second-hand plate in an op shop, a stretch of reef, a rock, a creature or scene that caught my eye and stayed in my heart and mind.

Works is where it all lives. Some pieces come from the deep and serious places — from memory, grief, love, and the encounters that leave a mark on a life. Some are born from timber that called to me on a walk, or from the reef and landscape of Far North Queensland that changed the direction of everything.

And some come from pure joy — the resin worlds that span wildlife, gothic landscapes, miniature scenes and fantasy realms, made with a grin and without apology.
